Matthias TUCHSCHMID

Matthias Tuchschmid has worked as an independent consultant in the field of life cycle assessments for various railway companies and the UIC and has prepared various life cycle assessment studies. Since 2012, he has been working for SBB in the energy-saving programme: the focus of his work has been on improving the energy efficiency of rolling stock and optimising rail operations in the interaction between train drivers, the operations centre and the timetable. Since 2019, he has been co-leading SBB's "Energy Efficiency and Climate Neutrality" programme.
